Warranty,Returns and damages
Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts inspects all products prior to shipping and prior to curbside/ instore pick up. Small appliances (including coffee machines) are individually tested, primed and programmed either by manufacturer or our warehouse prior to shipping in order to ensure quality control. (This is the reason that you may find coffee residue inside new machines.)
All Returns must be pre-approved by Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts PRIOR TO RETURN SHIPPING. Please do not ship back product without written confirmation from our customer service department.
Most products offered by Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts are covered by a third party and/or manufacturer/vendor warranty.
Please do not return (ship) products to Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts prior to contacting Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts for approval.
We reserve the right to not accept any returns without authorization. We will provide you with instructions as to where to ship and return products. (Any required shipment costs and/or related expenses will be borne by you.) Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts will not pay for any related shipping/couriering costs/expenses unless agreed otherwise by Northwest kitchenware.
All merchandise that does not have a warranty by a third party and/or manufacturer/vendor, is sold on an “As Is” basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including without limitation warranties of title or implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Depending on manufacturer warranty items may be repaired rather than replaced.
Warranty will not cover any mis-use, alteration or abuse. Warranty will also not be covered if iregular water or power supply is used or foreign items are used in coffee grinder.
Warranty does not cover cosmetics including color fading or peeling (We recommend not using dishwashers or high heat steam cleaning)
Follow manufacturer guidelines in order to qualify (i.e. cleaned regularly, descaled when required).
We suggest upon purchase you register your product with the manufacturer to ensure warranty coverage.

Espresso/Coffee machines, Coffee Grinders and Small Appliance Returns:
Un-opened/unused product Returned within 5 days of purchase will only qualify for full refund upon approval.
Please note this does not include the cost of return shipping even if item was shipped free.
Any open box/ open seal and or slightly used product will be subject to a 15%-35% restocking fee depending on condition and is applied at the descresion of Northwest Kitchenware. (Within 10 days of purchase) Should you return appliances without original packaging and parts (including instruction booklets) you will be charged 10% of the product value in addition to the restocking fee.
Upon approval for return of open box product: Appliances/Espresso Machines should be cleaned and repackaged properly.
Securely pack items and seal package. Attach From/To Labels to the package. Remove any other shipping labels. Ensure there is no water in the machine as this can cause damage to machine in transit.
The machine will be inspected upon its return to ensure all original items are included (user manuals, accessories, etc.). Then the machine will be tested to confirm any defect. We will advise of the next step once we determine condition of the machine.
Please return your product via Canada Post and insure the shipment for its full value as you are responsible and liable for the return shipment.
All parts sold are original OEM replacement parts unless specified otherwise and are inspected prior to shipping.
Please note: No returns or exchanges on parts purchased from northwestkitchenware.com or showroom location.
All parts and accessories are final sale.
Parts/Espresso Parts: Please note all parts purchased on www.northwestkitchenware.com and Northwest kitchenware Company service center location are final sale and can not be returned. Please ensure parts ordered are correct proir to purchase (i.e. gasket sizes, voltage, model, etc.)
All parts are inspected, prior to shipping for quality assurance.
Any food items including coffee and cleaning supply such as descaler is not eligible for return.
Please note that we insure all our product shipments with Canada Post. Please inspect your package when you receive it from Canada Post.
If you notice any damage from shipping (inspect the shipping box when you receive it for dents etc.)
Please note the damage on the carrier's freight bill or receipt. Be sure to obtain a copy.
Please call Canada Post immediately at 1-866-607-6301 and report the damage. Make sure that you keep all packaging (boxes, shipping labels, etc...)As Canada Post will come to inspect the package. Please also contact Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts to notify that your product (machine) was damaged in transit.
Northwest Kitchenware and Gifts shall have no liability for loss and/or damage arising out of or connected with the merchandise, including, any claims for incidental or consequential damages regardless of any warranty included with the product.
Please contact our office within 48hours of shipment received so we may address your concerns in a prompt and orderly fashion. We may ask to provide photos to verify any damages incurred.
